Job hopper

It was a period of about 3 years when I am very much detached from football. I was hoping from job to job, from an independent health products dealer to a flight attendant; from a government official to a school teacher. My mind was never settled. I started to think about going back to school towards the end of my one-year teaching contract and I looked at the MBA’s, the Msc in Econ’s. I even took the GMAT and scored 700 (not bad, huh?). Still, I couldn’t convince myself of what I should be studying, or more precisely, what I should be pursuing.

Then all of a sudden, when I was browsing the web one day, I came along with the web-site of SMWW (Sports Management World Wide) and they offer an 8-week course in soccer management and scouting. I enrolled and started the pre-course reading; this is when I first discovered my interests in learning about football. That’s when I first know that albeit the fact that I’ve played football since I was 8 or 9 years old, I know nothing about football. Now that I want to study something, I’d rather study football.
